The following message was sent out on March 24th:
Special Olympics Northern California & Nevada has made the difficult decision to cancel all spring season sports and the 2020 Summer Games due to increasing concerns surrounding the spread of the coronavirus and the illness that it causes, COVID-19. I know this is a very exciting season and many athletes and coaches look forward to Summer Games every year, but know this decision was made to keep our athletes and coaches safe. The plan to move forward with summer sports in early July. Much more information will follow as SONC will have many ways for our community to stay involved and active during this time. The more we social distance now, the sooner we can come back and do what we love – COMPETE!

Basketball
Basketball practices will be on Sundays, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM, beginning January 12th, at College of Marin (Diamond Center Gymnasium), 700 College Avenue, Kentfield. Practices will continue every week until March 8th (there will be practice on March 8th).
There will NOT be practice on February 16th.
The Regional competition will be in Santa Rosa, at Santa Rosa Junior College on March 14, 2020.
